Free Admission to all KCPS games

After a successful launch last school year, the Knox County Board of Education is pleased to offer our students free entry into any KCPS home game. That includes entry into elementary, middle, and high school games regardless of grade level or school attended. Passes will be distributed in August for students to use.

The only exception is for scrimmages, tip-off tournaments, fundraising, KHSAA sanctioned tournaments where admission and attendance must be reported.

Cheer on your school and KCPS this year!

2024-2025 Academic Calendar

We can’t wait to see students back in the classroom on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

A complete academic calendar of breaks, days off, and tentative spring break and end of school can be found on our www.kcps.events website.

School Supply Information

What is needed for the 2024-2025 school year? NONE.

The Knox County Board of Education is once again providing basic school supplies for all of our students. Originally funded through Federal ESSER, the Board of Education will be using general funds along with additional federal funds to ensure that all students have the basic school supplies needed to succeed.

Can students bring their favorite cartoon character pencil and folder to school? Of course!
