The District Leadership Team serving the Knox County Public Schools are committed to school improvement planning and operations utilizing a systems approach. Within each school, individual leadership teams utilize the same process in their own improvement planning.
With guidance from the Kentucky Department of Education, the District Leadership Team completed the first phase of alignment and linkage during the summer of 2015 in order to effectively serve stakeholders. The result of this process was revisions to job titles, duties, and descriptions for our team. Since then the District Leadership Team’s roles and functions have been revised to better serve our stakeholders.
